The first cat I had ever owned was a beautiful long-haired ginger. My brother had woken up early to go somewhere and was telling my mom there was a cat on the porch. I broke my neck getting down the stairs and went out to see him. I instantly loved him. I started feeding him, leaving out water, and made him a few places to sleep on the porch. My mom had no intentions of letting me keep him at first but after a few weeks of me spending hours every day on the porch with him, she told me to bring him inside.
