I once had a dog named Buddy, best dog ever. It was an outside dog living on two acres so he got to roam free. He was part German Shepherd and I think Rottweiler. He would always want to go for a drive, so every time I open the door to my truck it would always bolt in the cab. Every time I come home, it would always have something in its mouth to give me, lol. The worst part of the story, it was poisoned. Apparently, it wandered off and got a hold of something toxic. One day when I came home, it was laying on its side trying to grasp the air. I rushed him to the vet but there was nothing they could do, he died a few hours later. Buddy will always be in my heart. This happened around 30 years ago and I still miss him.

We get all of our dogs cremated and get nice boxed to store it in. They are provided by the cremation place. I also make albums for each pet so when they pass, I have something to look back on and remember. My most recent loss was a cat, he had died due to cancer. It was sudden and heart breaking. My husband got me a plush that was modeled after him. I can’t remember the company but I love it. I put his collar on the plush as well as his hoodie that he used to wear when we would go for walks in cooler temps.
